The commendations continue to roll in for the JTA for hosting what many are saying was the biggest Research Symposium to be ever hosted by the JTA in recent history. The activity was held at the West Jamaica Conference Center, Montego Bay, on Wednesday, November 28.
Some 1600 teachers and exhibitors participated in the event which lasted from 9am to 5pm. The event which is usually held in the month of May each year, during education week was moved this year to November by JTA President, Dr. Garth Anderson. The move was done to alleviate some of the challenges normally experienced with having several major activities in that one week.
According to Dr. Anderson "the idea paid off"
